FAQ

Common questions

How do I know if it's anxiety or just stress?

Stress usually eases when the pressure does. If the worry sticks around, shows up out of nowhere, or keeps you from living your life, it's worth a conversation.

Do I need medication?

Not necessarily. Many people do well with therapy alone. If medication might help, I can point you toward a prescriber and coordinate with them.

How long does therapy take?

It depends on you. Some people feel better in a handful of sessions, others stay longer to go deeper. We'll check in on progress together.

What if I'm in crisis?

Please call or text 988, or call 911. Therapy isn't an emergency service, but I'm glad to help once you're safe.
